Help us bring the magic of Santa Saturday to Downtown Pottstown on December 5, 2026! Volunteers will play an important role in welcoming families, supporting activities, assisting local businesses and creating a safe, festive experience for the entire community. Whether you can help for a few hours or the full event, there is a role for you.
Santa Saturday Volunteer Roles
Volunteer Roles| Setup Crew | Set up tables, tents, decorations, signage, activity areas and sponsor displays before the event. |
| Downtown Holiday Ambassadors | Encourage guests to visit participating shops and restaurants and explain merchant specials or the holiday passport. |
| Santa Arrival Team | Help organize Santa’s arrival, maintain the viewing area and guide families safely along the route. |
| Holiday Photo Assistants | Manage the photo line, help families prepare and keep the photo area moving smoothly. |
| Ugly Sweater Contest Crew | Register contestants, assign numbers, organize judging and help distribute prizes. |
| Entertainment Assistants | Support performers, monitor the schedule and help with announcements or stage transitions. |
| Sponsor & Vendor Liaison | Welcome sponsors and vendors, help them find their spaces and respond to event-day needs. |
| Hospitality & Warm-Up Crew | Monitor warming areas, keep seating organized and alert event staff to safety concerns. |
| Event Floaters | Fill gaps, deliver supplies, provide breaks and assist wherever additional help is needed. |
| Photography & Social Media Team | Capture event photos and short videos and share approved updates during the celebration. |
| Cleanup Crew | Remove decorations, collect trash, break down equipment and help return event spaces to their original condition. |
