Pottstown Juneteenth Celebration Returns to Downtown Pottstown on Saturday, June 13th

POTTSTOWN, PA 5/5/26 Downtown Pottstown will come alive with music, culture, community pride, and family-friendly activities as the Pottstown Juneteenth Celebration returns to East High Street on Saturday, June 13, from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Held in Downtown Pottstown on East High Street between Charlotte Street and Hanover Street, this free and open-to-the-community celebration will honor Juneteenth through a vibrant day of entertainment, local vendors, food trucks, art, cultural experiences, youth engagement, and community connection.

This year’s theme, “Our Vision. Our Voice. Our Vibe.”, reflects the spirit of the celebration: honoring freedom, uplifting culture, supporting local entrepreneurship, and creating a welcoming downtown experience for residents, families, businesses, and visitors.

“This is going to be the biggest Juneteenth yet,” said Denise Williams, Event Organizer. “We’ll have performances ranging from local talent to national acts, bringing the community together for a vibrant day of celebration, culture, and connection. There will truly be something for everyone.”

The 2026 celebration will feature a 3v3 Basketball Tournament, Juneteenth Pageant, Battle of the DJ, food trucks, vendors, local businesses, live artists, special guests, and family activities. Featured entertainment includes Wilde Tuna of Philly 57 as emcee, DJ Diamond Kuts, Son of the 215, DJ Jam, Lola, and Heroic Poet.

The celebration is designed to be both a cultural event and a downtown activation, bringing foot traffic to High Street and creating opportunities for local businesses, entrepreneurs, artists, and community organizations to connect with the public.

“Events like Pottstown Juneteenth help showcase the heart of Downtown Pottstown,” said Danielle Kangas, Main Street Manager for the Pottstown Business Improvement District. “They bring people together, support local businesses, and reflect the culture, creativity, and pride that make our downtown a destination to live, work, shop, dine, and explore.”

The Pottstown Juneteenth Celebration is powered by CoCo Land, Be ReZillient, and PowerUP Foundation.
