    Join the Pottstown Trivia Cup, kicking off the week of April 20, 2026, at three participating downtown locations:

    Mondays at 7 PM — J.J. Ratigan
    Wednesdays at 7:30 PM — Artillery
    Thursdays at 7 PM — The Alley on High Street

    Teams can play at any of the three locations each week, but your first score of the week is your locked-in score.

    Pottstown Trivia Cup
    Official Rules

    The Pottstown Trivia Cup is a 6-week downtown trivia competition hosted at three participating locations in Pottstown:

    • J.J. Ratigan — Mondays at 7:00 PM
    • Artillery — Wednesdays at 7:00 PM
    • The Alley on High Street — Thursdays at 7:00 PM

    The league kicks off the week of April 20, 2026 and runs for six consecutive weeks.


    How It Works

    Teams may compete at any of the three participating locations each week. Teams are not required to play at the same location every week.

    Each trivia night consists of 50 questions, with an opportunity to earn up to 5 additional points for fast, correct answers during the game.

    Teams also receive 5 participation points for each week they play.


    Official Weekly Score

    Each team may earn one official score per week.

    A team’s first score of the week is its locked-in official score for that week. If a team chooses to play again at another participating location later in the same week, that additional score will not replace, improve, or add to the team’s official weekly total.

    A team’s weekly total consists of:

    Trivia score + speed bonus points + 5 participation points


    League Scoring

    Each team’s official weekly totals will be added together over the full 6-week competition period.

    At the conclusion of the league, the three teams with the highest cumulative scores will be named the winners.


    Prizes

    • 1st Place: $100 gift card
    • 2nd Place: $50 gift card
    • 3rd Place: $50 gift card


    General Rules

    • Teams are responsible for using a consistent team name throughout the competition.
    • Teams may play at any participating location, but only their first score recorded each week will count.
    • Scores will be tracked weekly and totaled by league organizers.
    • By participating, teams agree to abide by all venue rules and host decisions.
    • League organizers reserve the right to clarify scoring or eligibility questions as needed to ensure fair competition.

    Each game features:

    • 50 trivia questions
    • Up to 5 points for fast, correct answers
    • 5 participation points just for showing up

    Scores are added together over 6 weeks,

    1st Place: $100 gift card
    2nd Place: $50 gift card
    3rd Place: $50 gift card
